The 12 fretboard radius is equally comfortable and well suited for first-position chording and for string bends further up the neck without the risk of your bends fretting out. The Epiphone SG Custom is outfitted with gold hardware throughout, right down to the gold inserts on the black Top Hat control knobs. The bound headstock has Grover Mini Rotomatic tuning machines and is adorned with the Epiphone logo and Custom Split Diamond inlay, both in mother of pearl. The Grover tuners, Graph Tech nut, and the fully adjustable Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece all work together to keep the tuning stability and intonation on point.
