Inspired by classic designs but with its own personality. The JB is Iris’ interpretation of an OM style guitar with a modern original design. This extremely versatile guitar features the clarity and balance youd expect in a smaller bodied instrument. Due to its proportions though, the JB has the ability to produce tone with exceptional vigor and volume. The slender depth and narrow waist married with a 16 inch lower bout provides fundamental low-end response, a clean mid-range, and rotund treble.Natural finish on a sitka spruce top. Mahogany back/sides. Scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing. Open pore, natural satin nitrocellulose finish. Mahogany neckwith a full “C” shape neck carve. Bolt on Mortise and Tenon neck joint.
