From these trees, Chianti wine barrels were created and used by the Paoletti familys winery for over 100 years. The barrels have since been broken down into planks that Master Luthier Fabrizio Paoletti uses to build Paoletti guitars. Fabrizio mentions its not merely the wood’s age of 130 years, but rather the properties of Chestnut in general, that make his guitars sound so good. Chestnut is a harmonically rich wood that is noted for its long sustain.
The Paoletti Nancy Leather Top delivers tone and playability in a big way, and you can hear and feel it from the very first strum. The pickups are dynamic and articulate, and allow players to express themselves with their fingers and picking technique. The neck has a great shape that will accommodate all players, and cosmetically, this thing looks fantastic.
