The Yamaha BB “Broad Bass” has a rich history, extending all the way back to the late ’70s. These instantly recognizable basses are a great alternative to the norm – and this BB434 is a great value too! For only about $500 bucks, you get a vintage-inspired Yamaha bass with a solid alder body, and a 5 piece maple/walnut neck with rosewood fingerboard and 6 bolt neck joint. It’s loaded with alnico 5 magnet YGD Custom V5 pickups, and a very cool “convertible” bridge, with a special diagonal loading angle if you string through the body – or you can top load it! It also features lightweight open gear tuners and a unique multi-point pickguard.
