Built in Japan, the guitar has a solid European spruce top paired with solid walnut for the back and sides. The nut is narrower than most nylon-strings, which also makes it a good choice for those who don’t usually play Classical guitar but still want a warm nylon string tone. The NTX5 features Atmosfeel electrics, an innovative Yamaha system that has a 3-way sensor setup: a piezo under-saddle sensor, internal microphone, and a sheet sensor to pick up tone from the soundboard! A mic blend control allows you to blend the microphone signal with the piezo tone.
